I was alone then. Alone, but not discouraged. I had started out on my own, I could continue on my own. I practiced magic every day. I worked on my sences, energies, and powers alike. I practiced my healing most of all, and my shields came in second.
The healing was an energy that came from within, and I pushed it out with my will to heal things/people outside of my body. I eventually got good enough to actually help people. At first I could heal pain. Then, as I practiced, I learned to heal earaches, mend bones, and greatly speed up the healing process with cuts. I was once on a church trip, and a freind said that all the sudden he couldn't hear out of one of his right ear. I focused the healing energy there withought touching him, and instantly he said nevermind, he could hear again. My grandfather had taken a nasty fall, and the doctor said he had a green-break on his shin. On the way to school he mentioned the pain, and I focused for about 10 min on healing him. Two weeks later he went to the doctor and they said that there was no green-break. I asked him about it, and he said that it stoped hurting two weeks ago. Once when I had accidently cut my fingertips, I focused for about fourty min, and they were mostly healed (except for a thin/unconsequential layer of peeled skin).
I had learned a lot, and I fealt it was time for me to recruit students. Naturally, I started with my freinds. At first, I was largely... unsuccessfull. I was inexperienced, and had no idea what to look for in a student. Luckily I chose my freinds wisely, and they never told anyone. I eventually learned about probing, and how to sence power level, potential, and species within a person. That's when I started recruiting Kindred instead of just my freinds, and that's when I truelly started to train Kin in Porterville, and form my group.
